Matthew Baker Author Photo_x300Matthew Baker

Named one of Variety’s “10 Storytellers to Watch,” Matthew Baker is the author of the story collection Why Visit America. His fiction has appeared in publications such as New York Times Magazine, The Paris Review, American Short Fiction, One Story, Electric Literature, and Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy. Tiana Clark is the author of the poetry collection I Can’t Talk About the Trees Without the Blood (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2018), winner of the 2017 Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize, and Equilibrium (Bull City Press, 2016), selected by Afaa Michael Weaver for the 2016 Frost Place Chapbook Competition. Lee Conell is the author of the novel The Party Upstairs (Penguin Press). She is the recipient of a 2020 Creative Writing Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts as well as the Chicago Tribune’s Nelson Algren Award. Kate Reed Petty's first novel, True Story, is long-listed for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. Her fiction has appeared in Electric Literature, American Short Fiction, and Blackbird, and her short films have appeared on Narrative and at the Maryland Film Festival.
