All Saints’ Chapel Staff

Tom MacfieThe Rev. Thomas E. Macfie Jr. is the chaplain for the University, and dean of All Saints' Chapel. He holds the degrees of bachelor of arts in history (1980) and master of divinity (1989) from the University of the South, and coordinates the programs of All Saints' Chapel, along with leading worship services.
Melissa M. HartleyThe Rev. Dr. Melissa M. Hartley is the associate chaplain for the University. She coordinates the worship planning for All Saints' Chapel and shares in the pastoral care of the University. A 1993 graduate of the college, she holds the following degrees: B.A., University of the South; M.Div., S.T.M., General Theological Seminary; Ph.D. (Liturgical Studies), Drew University. 
Kasey TaylorKasey Taylor is the assistant to the University Chaplain. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in business administration.
Kayla Deep is the Lay Chaplain for the University. She works alongside the Chaplain and Associate Chaplain in the areas of worship leadership, weekly programming, and relational ministry with the student body. A 2015 graduate of the college, she holds a B.A. in English.

Dr. Geoffrey Ward serves as University Organist and Choirmaster. He coordinates music for All Saints’ Chapel and is director of the University Choir. He holds the following degrees: B. Mus. & B. Ed. from Mount Allison University, M.Mus. from Arizona State University and D.M.A. from The University of Kansas. 

Jim TurrellThe Rev. Dr. James F. Turrell is an associate priest and associate professor of liturgics and the history of liturgics at The School of Theology. He holds the following degrees: B.A., M.Div. from Yale University; M.A., Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
Julia GattaThe Rev. Dr. Julia Gatta is an associate priest and associate professor of pastoral theology at The School of Theology. She holds the following degrees:  B.A., St. Mary's College; Notre Dame, Ind.; M.A., Ph.D., Cornell University; and M.Div., Episcopal Divinity School.
 Ruth Sheridan Cobb is the assistant to the chaplain for the development of student ministries. She works with the university chaplain to design initiatives and activities that will deepen the spiritual life of students. She holds a B.Mus. from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in organ performance and a master's degree in church music (organ and choral conducting) from Northwestern University, with liturgical studies at Seabury-Western Seminary. She also earned a certificate in French Civilisation from the Sorbonne.
