Special Event Planning / Staffing
To secure the necessary traffic and crowd control measures, persons or organizations planning activities that involve campus streets or the usage of campus parking lots should work with the Sewanee Police Department to procure staffing for the event or traffic control. The request for officer staffing will need to occur at least two weeks in advance through EMS or Engage for Greek Life.
For outside groups and entities planning an event on the Campus and needing a Police or Security Presence you may complete a request for Special Event Staffing. The Sewanee Police Department charges $50.00 per hour with a four hour minimum.
