Student Activities Summer 2018

Twelve Sewanee students from various disciplines—Politics, IGS, WGS, Biology, and History--completed internships in Africa during 2018. They worked in a hospital in Accra, Ghana; a history archive in Zanzibar; a women’s rights organization in Kampala, Uganda, the development programs of the Diocese of Central Tanganyika in Tanzania; and three different AIDS organizations in Kampala.  

Three Sewanee Students presented their research at the 2018 Midwest Political Science Conference—Georgia Konstam, Alexa Ewan and Emily Donkervoet.
