Jackson Ewing To Speak on U.S. and Chinese Involvement in Climate Change Negotiations

On April 7, 4:30 in Gailor Auditorium, Jackson Ewing will deliver a talk titled "Strange Bedfellows: How the United States and China Found Common Purpose on Climate Change." Jackson Ewing is director of the Asian Sustainability Program at the Asia Society Policy Institute and attended the COP climate change negotiations in Paris at the end of 2015. The subject is an important and timely one in light of the COP 21 negotiations in Paris, the prior framework negotiated between the U.S. and China, and, of course, the looming threat and effects of global warming.
