Kyle Sanders has been teaching at Sewanee since 2016, both at the School of Theology and in the Department of Classics. His recent academic offerings include a variety of courses in Greek language and literature (Plato, Euripides, New Testament Greek, “Praise Poetry from Pindar to Romanos”), as well as broader surveys combining works in translation with material culture (“The Golden Age of Athens,” “Ancient Athletics”). Dr. Sanders’ scholarly interests center around Greek lyric, ancient riddles, and digital humanities.
