A novelist and screenwriter, Diana Wagman received an M.A.
from American University and an M. F. A. from the American
Film Institute. She is the author of three novels: Skin
Deep was heralded by the New York Times as
a “brilliant debut,” and Spontaneous was
honored with the USA PEN West Award for Fiction. Bump,
her most recent novel, has been optioned as a film and was
short listed for the Dublin Literary Prize. The author of
the film, Delivering Milo (2001), starring Albert
Finney and Bridget Fonda, Wagman has won a Washington Area
Filmmaker’s Grant and a Silver Eagle Award at the Chicago
Film Festival.Currently, she teaches fiction
writing at UCLA Writer's Extension and screenwriting and
adaptation at Loyola Marymount University and the California
Institute of the Arts. She lives in Los Angeles with her
husband and two teenage children.
