May 18, 2007: SUT operation update

SUT Patrons, 

The University has entered a partnership with the operators of the Oldham Theatre (Winchester) and the Montana Drive In (Estill Springs) to bring new movies back to the Sewanee Union Theatre.  Beginning Friday, May 25, the SUT will be open seven days a week for new films.

It has been a pleasure serving Sewanee's students and local community and we hope that this new partnership will return the SUT to the excitement of first run films.

The SUT is one of the oldest theatres in the south. It started showing films in the late 1920s. 

The Cinema Guild, a student organization, presents free films once a week during the academic school year. Please check back later for new schedules, including date and time.
