Riding in Sewanee? Sewanee serves as a great base for cycling. You can ride from your dorm and head straight out to do some trail riding (30 + miles of trails are available) or head down off the Cumberland Plateau to do road riding on the roads and climbs that encompass this area. If you like mountain biking or road riding Sewanee serves as a terrific home base.
Students can enjoy access to mountain biking trails by riding from campus; for visitors the best place to park is Lake Cheston.
MS150 Ride to Jack & Back - 2 day 150 mile bike ride
Each fall Sewanee cyclists ride Tennessee's finest country roads while raising money to help
fight multiple sclerosis. Sewanee riders have had a team of 22+ riders for 8 years running and
train for 5 weeks prior to the 2 day ride.

Tour de Natchez Trace! 5 day, 444 mile cycling tour
Sewanee cyclists road the entire route from Nashville, TN. to Natchez, Miss. Camping out
each night, riding each day and basically having a great time.
