A group of students spent two weeks of their winter break, driving to Colorado, acclimating to high elevation, and snowshoeing on the Continental Divide in the San Juan Mtns. of Colorado.

After three days acclimating at 9,000ft. we camped the next 3 nights in our tents at elevations of 11,000ft., 12,000ft. and 13,000ft.; respectively.







The last three nights of our trip we stayed in yurts on the Hinsdale Haute Route.
