Check it out! For the first time in the history of the Sewanee Review, we’re publishing an original piece exclusively online. Brock Adam's essay, "Spilt Ink," begins, “Here’s the thing: I don’t really like to write” and includes (but is not limited to) aliens bursting from chests, a bleached skull on the ocean floor, and a crowded subway station.
Adam’s essay is the first in an online series of essays and interviews featuring Sewanee Review contributors on writing and related topics. We’re calling the series Spilt Ink after its inaugural essay, but also because it points to the spontaneous nature of the writing and conversations to come. Read the full essay at the Sewanee Review blog, and keep an eye out for more!
