Are you looking for a master's program that's got a little something different? Are you a teacher and feel like you can never find time to get your degree? Do you want to study with an all-star faculty on one of the most beautiful campuses in the world?
Let us introduce you to the Sewanee School of Letters, the MA and MFA program at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Notable guests lecturers and readers—including renowned authors, poets, and writers—join the distinguished faculty from Sewanee and beyond to teach a rigorous six-week summer session. Total enrollment is about 100 students, and the atmosphere, though academically challenging and intellectually stimulating, is intimate and friendly.
Students complete four summer sessions and a thesis with most students taking two courses per session. MA students can opt for five summers to complete the program.
The Sewanee School of Letters offers a Master of Arts in Literature, a Master of Arts in Theology and Literature (in coordination with Sewanee's School of Theology), and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing focusing on fiction, non-fiction, or poetry.
The 2013 summer session will run from June 9 to July 19, so apply today!
