Are you ready for a fantastic night of food and fun that can only be found in Sewanee? Then come on out to the McGriff Alumni House on Tuesday, November 13th at 8:00 PM for this year's Fall Open House! Join the Sewanee Review in the celebration of the end of our 120th year, and take the opportunity to enjoy great food, great people and, of course, great literature.
The event will include readings of past and present SR contributors, and will be presented by current and former faculty—W. Brown Patterson, Christopher McDonough, Lauryl Tucker, Pamela Macfie, and Robert Benson—and current students, including freshman Maggie Koella, sophomore Rebecca Manseau, junior Norris Eppes, and senior Malcolm Taylor.
What would a night of fellowship be without food and drink? The Open House will feature catering by Julia's, and the offerings are sure to be scrumptious!
If all of that isn't enough to draw you in, here's one more thing you might like to know about the SR Fall Open House: there will be door prizes! Drop a ticket in the basket and you could win a $25 Barnes & Noble gift certificate, a year-long subscription to the Sewanee Review, a new book to enrich your literary life, and more! In addition, there will be a book sale where attendees can buy classics and newer works for deeply discounted prices.
Come fill up your brain, your tummy, and your bookshelves! See you there!
