New! David J. Rothman's launches two new collections of poetry

David J. Rothman is currently playing a double header: he has two new collections of poetry out for our reading pleasure, The Book of Catapults (White Violet Press) and Part of the Darkness (Entasis Press). Sewanee Review advisory editor David Mason says of The Part of Darkness, “You've never read a book like this one, crackling with comedy and drama, colloquial, breezy and bitingly Byronic. Here we find characters including God, a Demon, a Muse, and a hero, an ordinary modern man.” If you need more convincing, read a review of Part of the Darkness over at the Washington Times, in which Rothman is paired with Aiken Taylor recipient and Pulitzer Prize winner Anthony Hecht, or take a peek inside the book
