John Kinsella's Short Stories from the Outback

 Set in his native western Australia, In the Shade of the Shady Tree is a collection of short stories by John Kinsella to be published in February of 2012 by Ohio University Press.  Kinsella, who has taught at Kenyon College and is currently a fellow at Churchill College in Cambridge and at the University of Western Australia, is the author of numerous books of poetry and prose.  His awards include three Western Australian Premier's Book Awards, the Grace Leven Prize for Poetry, the John Bray Award for Poetry , and the Christopher Brennan Award.  Known for his "international regionalism," Kinsella's newest collection of stories from the wheatbelt of Australia follow suit and are sure to make for great reading.
