Major in Russian studies: Russian studies is an interdisciplinary major that enables majors to combine advanced study in Russian language, literature, and culture with courses in history and the social sciences of anthropology, economics, and political science.

The major is comprised of eight core courses in Russian, history, and political science. As one of the core requirements majors will write a senior interdisciplinary paper. Majors will also select three related course in history and the social sciences.

The Russian studies committee will advise majors on opportunities for study in Russia and in central Europe.
