Physics Day at the Amusement Park 2005

Starting at 10 AM
As has been our wonderful situation in the past, the management of Lake Winnepesaukah is inviting you and all your physics students to be guests of the park on this day. There is no admission charge and there are no ride charges. Just ask your students to act as invited guests. Please leave me a phone message (931-598-1550) or send me an email (rpeterso@sewanee.edu) telling who you are, school, approximate number of students, and the number of bathroom scales you are bringing.
Please bring a mechanical bathroom scale to our Physics Day at the Amusement Park. We will sit on them as we ride a few of the rides. If you have a few vertical accelerometers left from previous years (the ones with the springs), bring them for use on the Pirate Ship and the Roller Coaster. I will send some new accelerometers for in-class calibration.
If you need help with your school board, I will be glad to do what I can. Call me.
