PowerSave Campus Interns Host Green Career Panel

The Panel, which occurred on February 22nd, included a networking luncheon at the McGriff Alumni House with the panelist for interested students as well as an open forum in the afternoon where the different panelists discussed their jobs, their path on getting to where they are, and some of their views on potential career paths as well as looming environmental stumbling blocks.

The Panelist were:

– Jennifer Barrie, Program Associate at the Alliance to Save Energy.

– Ken Hines, former President and Managing Director of the Hancock Renewable Energy Group, an investment arm of the John Hancock Life Insurance Company.

– Keith Johnston, C’95, Managing Attorney at the Birmingham AL office of the Southern Environmental Law Center.

– Jeff Kibler, C’84, Vice President and National Sales Manager at GreenTree Environmental Consultants, a firm that provides turnkey recycling programs for companies.

–Andrew McCalla, C’94, CEO of  Meridian Solar Solutions, a firm that designs and installs solar electrical systems.
