John has been a clinician at the Wellness Center since 2014. He provides individual, group, and couples therapy, as well as consultation and outreach services. John's clinical interests include treatment of depression and anxiety, identity development, adjustment during major life transitions, men's issues, trauma/PTSD, and relationship concerns. He uses an integrative approach to therapy, merging client-centered and emotion-focused elements while maintaining a curious, collaborative psychodynamic stance. John received his PhD from the University of Maryland - College Park, interned in a predoctoral program at Emory, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UGA.
