Wireless Networking @ Sewanee

 

Introduction

Wireless networking allows users to access the Sewanee network (and elsewhere on the Internet) without physically connecting to an Ethernet jack.  Please note that wireless access is intended to supplement wired Ethernet access, not replace it.

 

The following web pages describe how to utilize Sewanee's wireless network.

 

 

Basic Requirements

To connect to the wireless network, you will need a computer equipped with an internal card or an external Type II or Type III PC card slot.  See below for the minimum system requirements to access Sewanee's Wireless LAN.

  • Mac OS X
