January 15-February 7: Miles Gloriosus by Plautus.
Reading Assignments will be approximately 150 lines per week. All
students will be expected to have read assigned outside reading and a translation
of Aristophanes' Clouds for a discussion during the class session scheduled for
January 31.
February 12-March 27 Amphitruo by Plautus.
In addition to the assigned passages from the Amphitruo, students will be expected to complete assigned reading (a secondary source and another play by Plautus) for a discussion on March 25.
