3.) CEC Lesson Plans
Columbia Education Center K-12 lesson plans were created by teachers for use in the classroom.  This site also offers a large collection of links to other internet-based lesson plans and resources.

4.) Tennessee State Curriculum Guidelines
A MUST for Tennessee teachers as a starting point for preparing lesson and unit plans.  Curriculum standards provide a framework that contains the broad goals and objectives which identify the minimum content required at each grade level and for each course.  The approved frameworks are the basis for planning instructional programs in each local school system.

The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) This is the home page of ERIC, the national information system designed to provide access to an extensive body of literature related to education.  Maintained by the U.S. Department of Education, it is the largest education database in the world.  Visitors to the site will find abstracts of journal articles, research reports, conference papers, and more.

AskERIC As the sister site of ERIC, Ask ERIC encompasses the resources of ERIC and more.  Its question and answer service allows educators to pose questions on teaching, learning, educational administration, or educational technology and receive an e-mail response from the AskERIC staff within approximately 48 hours.
