News & Events

Beyond the Gates: Preparing for Life and Work After Sewanee-(C'09 & C'10), January 9-10, 2009.  Sign up on TigerNet by 12/1 and follow the application requirements right away. 
Juniors and seniors return to campus two days early from winter break to meet with alumni and parents.  Meet professionals from fields such as finance, education, marketing, law, philanthropy, non-profits, government, medicine...and many more!  Receive tips and practice with interviewing, resume readiness, networking skills, business etiquette, and career & industry advice.  By December 1st, your RESUME must be uploaded on TigerNet, and your PROFILE updated to reflect 3 or less career interests.

Bank of America:  Finance Intern Program-C'10
Submit resumes to TigerNet by December 8th to be reveiwed by Sewanee alumni currently working at BoA.  They will prep you for the actual application process.  The summer internship is designed to deliver a best in class internship opportunity for finance interns through experiential learning, training, and networking opportunities.  The Finance Intern Program is designed to give associates the necessary experiences and exposure to determine their level of interest in the Finance Management Associate Program while maximizing their contributions to Bank of America.  Summer job in Charlotte, NC.

Student Internship Reports 2008
Read about the experiences and reflections of Sewanee students who interned for organizations in over 23 states and 21 countries in 2008, thanks to the help of alumni and the donors of Sewanee's 21 endowed internship funds. Through these funds, 150 students received a total of nearly $350,000 in stipends or paid internships in 2008. Click here to see the list of where Sewanee students worked and conducted research.
