Biology news: Recent publications by undergraduate students, faculty and staff: Sewanee' s Biology Department offers undergraduates numerous opportunities to get involved with reasearch. Click here to see recent publications from this process. We are adding another faculty member in the fields of molecular genetics and/or genomics. Click here for more information. Work continues on the $22 million Spencer Hall science facility. The facility will house modern classrooms, labs, offices and student study areas for Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Environmental Studies. We are on schedule to open the facility in Fall 2008. HerpCon 2008 comes to Sewanee. The Annual Meeting of the Tennessee Herpetological Society will be hosted by the Biology Department Spetember 25-28. See the Conference Homepage for details.
