Men's Soccer:
Sewanee Outlasts Southwestern 1-0 in Overtime
(Sewanee, TN) -- Senior Andrew North put a free kick from 20 yards out inside the right post in the third minute of sudden victory (93rd minute) as Sewanee defeated Southwestern, 1-0, in a SCAC men's soccer match.
Sewanee is 5-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the SCAC. Southwestern is 3-3-1 and 0-1-1 in the SCAC. Sewanee has now beaten Southwestern four straight times at home.
Sewanee goalkeeper Paul Roper posted his second shutout of
the season.
