Katie Nelson-Coffey Receives Honorable Mention for Dissertation
Katie Nelson-Coffey received Honorable Mention for her dissertation, “The Effects Of Prosocial And Self-Focused Behaviors On Psychological Flourishing” at the World Congress on Positive Psychology. The International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) provides the award at it's bi-annual meeting, which was held in Montreal this summer. The IPPA awarded a first place and three honorable mentions. The award committee noted, "Many of the applications received this year were characterized by impressively high levels of originality and methodological complexity: a very promising perspective for the future of positive psychology
