Psychology professor among those celebrated for “outstanding teaching”

Visiting Assistant Professor Nicole Noffsinger-Frazier was among six faculty members honored by the Society of Sewanee Scholars (SOSS) at its annual "Best Teaching Practices" dinner on March 3.  The SOSS is composed of 76 College students holding named scholarships.

The ranking Department member, Professor Charles Peyser, noted that Dr. Noffsinger-Frazier has been an exemplar of excellence during her time at Sewanee . . . as a varsity swimmer and psychology major in the class of 1997 . . . in her teaching (Abnormal Behavior, Research Methods & Data Analysis) and community outrearch research program.
