Freshmen are encouraged to work with the Director and their Academic Advisor to plan out a curricular path to meet their individual pre-health goals. First year students are encouraged to get involved with pre-health societies and other student groups to build communication and leadership skills. You should also begin to find opportunities for clinical exposure and get involved in the community. It is important to begin thinking about how your curricular and co-curricular activities will help show a sustained passion for helping others, as well as, showcasing your interest and knowledge of the medical field you plan on matriculating into when you graduate.
