Carey Fellows Travel to Chicago BOT and NYSE

As part of the Carey Fellowship, honors students in the business minor participate in two trips with the director of the Babson Center. As juniors, students visit the Chicago Board of Trade. As seniors, they stand on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for the opening bell. These trips provide students hands on experience in two major financial centers in the US, allow them to network with alumni and friends of the University, and expose them to the realities of business travel as they leave early in the morning and run from meeting to meeting to maximize their time.
