Fourth annual International Karaoke Night!

The fourth annual International Karaoke Night (Nov. 8) was a raucous event with international food, great music, and prizes! Students sang in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Russian, and Spanish. The three judges, Hiydees Feliciano-Torres, C'20, community member Linda Heck, and Jenna Whitehead, C'20, chose the winners based on such factors as voice quality, audience response, and complexity of the song.

Solo Acts:

1st place: Alexa Dudley, CHINESE, a traditional Chinese song, Mo Ali Hua
2nd place: Dorcas Ndjeka-Okese, FRENCH, Papaoutai by Stromae
3rd place: Cullen Oliver, RUSSIAN, I don't Wanna Live Forever by Taylor Swift and Zayn

Group Acts:

1st place: Amanda Bell, Taela Bland, Cade Sterling, Hayden Swisher, & Jack Whelchel, SPANISH, Guantanamera as popularized by Celia Cruz
2nd place: Hannah True & Katie Wray, GERMAN, I Won't Say I'm in Love from Disney's Hercules soundtrack
3rd place: Andres Carro & Jack Gray, SPANISH Del-Fin by Caribefunk
