Students and Faculty of Language and Culture Gather for an International Tea

Faculty, students and community members gathered to enjoy the truly global culture of the afternoon tea on April 16, 2015. Teas served included black tea, sweet Kenyan chai, Moroccan mint and Egyptian hibiscus. Executive Chef Rick Wright and his staff provided an array of authentic snacks--sweet and savory--that typically accompany these teas in the various regions. The event was منور (“lit up”) with students and faculty in regional costumes and decorative items from the regions represented.
