Academic Success: Tutoring
Certain departments offer formal, structured tutoring programs. If the subject you need is not noted below, please speak with your faculty member about tutoring options.
Chemistry: The Chemistry Department has a tutoring program for organic chemistry this semester. Organic Chemistry tutors are available Sunday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM in Spencer 262.
Chinese: Mondays: 5:00pm-7:00pm with Minghui, 7:00pm-9:00pm with Shirley. Tuesdays: 4:00pm-6:00pm with Kevin. Wednesdays: 7:00pm-9:00pm with Shirley. Thursdays: 3:00pm-5:00pm with Kevin, 5:00pm-7:00pm with Minghui. See also the Language Resource Center
Economics: Open to students in ECON 101, ECON 102, ECON 201 and ECON 202. Monday 6-8 pm, Tuesday 6-7 pm and Thursday 7-8 pm. All with Mate Szurop. Walsh-Ellett 310.
French and French Studies: Lyman tutors in the French Hallway (outside of Gailor 208 & 209). Monday 12:00pm - 3:30pm, Tuesday 1:00pm - 3:00pm, Wednesday 12:00pm - 3:30pm, Thursday 1:00pm - 3:00pm. See also the Department's Resource page as well as the Language Resource Center.

Greek: Hpone Tu is the Classics tutor; his hours are Mondays and Thursdays 7:00 to 8:30 PM, and Friday 4:30 to 5:30 PM. He is in the basement of Gailor.

Mathematics: Math 100: Mon. and Wed., 7:00-8:00 PM, in Woods Lab 121
Philosophy: Michael "Misha" Rudolph will available in the Dept. area on Carnegie 2 Mon-Thurs, 12:00-2:00 to assist with writing and logic.

The Center for Speaking and Listening, located on the main floor of du Pont Library, provides objective peer support to Sewanee students who seek assistance with presentations in any discipline.
