The Ayres Multi-Cultural Center, dedicated in 1989, sponsors a wide array of offerings throughout the year. Included are concerts, lectures, forums, receptions and parties. One of our most popular events during the academic year is our Coffee House Series featuring jazz and blues artists. All events are free as is the coffee, tea, and pastries during Coffee House events.

Over the years, students have grown to see the Center as a setting where members of the community from different backgrounds and experiences can come together for fun and quality programming. The fact that faculty members also attend scheduled events contributes greatly to the atmosphere. For students looking for a break from their studies or a change of pace from academic life, the Multi-Cultural Center is a good option for alternate entertainment.
