Food for Thought:
A summer program in ecology and sustainable agriculture
Field trips/guest speakers:
The interplay between ecology, agriculture, and human society is complex and has played out in many ways at different times in our history and in different parts of the world. The program will expose students to some of this complexity and diversity through field trips to working farms, gardens, and retailers, and through discussions with scholars whose work has involved agricultural systems.
