What do majors in the Department of Forestry and Geology do for work when the graduate?

Our majors go on to a number of interesting places and programs. Many go to graduate schools in geology, forestry, hydrology, environmental studies, geography, water resource management, land use planning, landscape architecture, environmental education, medicine, and environmental law. Some work as consulting foresters or in environmental consulting firms and government agencies before going on to graduate school. Others go into business or become writers, farmers, physicians, or architects.
