Joyce
Wilding,
co-chair of ENTREAT, a Science and Religion
program, at the University of the South at Sewanee. She is responsible for
planning, hosting and facilitating the Renewal of Reverence series. This series
that is open to the public offers new ways to celebrate the beauty and awe in
both science and religion, through the arts, liturgies and educational
programs.
Joyce
develops and implements the Episcopal Church Province IV Environmental Ministry programs for twenty
Episcopal dioceses in nine southern states. Her Reflection, Education and
Action
model has shaped several national science and religion programs as well as
conservation and faith projects. She is a Third Order Franciscan Novice, and
the Environmental
Ministry: Care for Creation leader at Christ Church Cathedral, Nashville,
TN.
Joyce
is a member of the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science (IRAS); the Episcopal Ecological
Network
(EpEN) Executive Steering Team and the EpEN liaison to the Episcopal Science,
Technology & Faith (ST&F) Committee.
